Your Gentle Wisdom

Dear God,

You know I need Your gentle wisdom in every aspect of my life. I am so thankful and grateful because You always manage to give me the best. Many times my own imperfect wisdom leads me to deal with my DS and DD in ways that are not exactly gentle. It wouldn't make You at all proud of me, Lord.

Really, I don't want to do things my way. All I want is to be gentle with the precious lives You have entrusted in my hands -- even when I am tired, frustrated, or just plain impatient because of my Diabetes. I know that I can only do and achieve this through the perfect wisdom and great power that You offer.

Father, please lead me everyday to accept and apply the strength that You have offered so that I will truly have the gentle spirit that You intended me to have as a Mother. Thank You, that I don't have to do this on my own. And because I know that You are always there.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven
is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate,
submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 3:17

  1. Oh Anne...It is not a coincidence that I have found your blog! You are a diabetic also ~ just like me and from reading your post, you must be going through what I call " the month's blues" I get them every month and they seem to affect my mood something fierce.

    Praying for you dear friend,

    Maria

  2. Hi Maria, I have Type 2... What kind do you have? Yes there are times when I just feel plain lousy. I guess we diabetics can really get so affected by our condition; sometimes we feel tired and exhausted for no reason at all...

What do you do to manage it? I need to have the discipline to bring down my weight, aaaaarggggh!!!! ^__^

I was a bit successful last year, but after that I just found myself enjoing food so much again.

Praying for you too. Glad we have something in common aside from loving God, haha!
