Tea Talk Time #19

1. I'm having... Strong black coffee with sugar substitute.

2. I'm feeling... Hopeful that DD will be okay...

3. On my mind... My recent "discovery" of a small, painful lump on my eight year old DD's left breast area... Can somebody please tell me if this is indeed a breast bud as our family doctor informed us this morning during check-up...? We will be going though, to DD's Pedia next week, for a more definite opinion. I am somewhat worried and scared this lump might be something else. I am praying to God that this is just a normal stage in growing up girls, because I don't remember experiencing this when I was about her age... Please pray with me, and cover my DD with your prayers, dear friends...

In that day you will no longer ask me anything.
I tell you the truth, my Father will give you
whatever you ask in my name.
John 16:23

Thanks Ruth for the refreshing Tea/Coffee Break! God bless you more, my friend!

  1. Hi Anne,
I'm sorry to hear about your recent concern about your DD. But I think it's just breast bud. My DD has that now and there should be only one lump on each. But better go for second opinion to be sure. I'll be praying that it's nothing to worry about. May God's peace be upon you.

    P.S. Yes, they're Ferrero Rocher Chocolates :-)

  2. Dear Ruth,

Thanks for the message; really, you think it's a breast bud too...? Oh I really hope it is just that... I get panicky when it's any of the kids' health at stake, you know... Am praying that all else will be well. And it is somehow a relief to hear that your DD has it too. There is one lump only, and only on one breast area. Is that normal that they did not appear at the same time...? Really, I don't think I had that when I was little... Our family doctor says kids nowadays grow up and mature physically so fast, that's why...

Thanks for the prayers, it definitely will help give me the peaceful mind that I so need... Will update you as soon as we show her to our Pedia for a second look. Your comment gave me so much relief, especially hearing that your DD is the same. The reason why I wasn't so sure about our family doc is because she is a GP and I guess I need to hear it from a more specialized doctor so to speak. Thanks again, God bless for all the help. :)

P.S. We are all fans of Ferrero Rocher that's why when I saw your delicious pic, I simply couldn't help but comment. :)
