Tea Talk Time #21

1. I'm having... Brewed black coffee with sugar substitute. Am taking it in a white styro cup and enjoying coffee time with DH.

2. I'm feeling... Excited for next week's meeting with my co-high school teachers.

3. On my mind... Getting the kids ready for school on June 8.

Flee the evil desires of youth,
and pursue righteousness,
faith, love and peace,
along with those who call on the Lord
out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:22

Thanks Ruth for the refreshing Tea/Coffee Break! God bless you more, my friend!

  1. Hi Anne!
Thank you for stopping by. I see you are switching to coffee after many weeks of drinking iced cold drinks :-)

I was wondering who was "Aurora" you mentioned. Is that Sleeping Beauty's name? LOL. My girls surely know all these Disney characters.

How summer vacation ending so soon. It feels like you were just looking forward to it and now you are already preparing for school opening!

    Have a wonderful day!

  2. Hi Ruth, yes, am starting to switch to hot drinks, haha. It's a bit cloudy today, I think it would rain. We are eagerly waiting for the rainy season to come, haha.

Yes, Aurora is Sleeping Beauty, haha. You surely had a grand time with the royalities, huh, lol!

The summer went by so fast, and we are gearing up for school's opening this June. We looked forward to it, yes, and now the kids want school, haha.

Am back to work on June 1, and looking forward to teaching adolescents this time. I figured God gave me this new post to prepare me also for Migs who will be a teen soon... I need to start preparing on how to handle a teen in the house, lol! Any words of wisdom from you is very much welcome; I know you have 2 (or is it just Ben yet?) in your household. :)

Thanks for the message, have a great week end!

  3. It think it is funny that you and Ruth are getting ready for school and our kids are getting ready for holidays. :) I'm jealous that you got coffee today. I haven't made myself a pot today and now it is too late for one.

  4. Hi Michelle, yes, School is about to start, and we have different skeds. :) There was a suggestion before that we adopt the American education school year, but it was never taken seriously. Because here in the Philippines, June is school's opening, and that is also the start of the rainy season... It is also the typhoon season, and some streets get really flooded, making it impassable to motorists and commuters. School is affected and all, so classes are usually cancelled... You get the picture... (Just like when it gets all snowy in the US and Canada, right?) :)

Haha, you go now and make yourself a steaming pot of coffee and enjoy a cup or two, okay! :)

Have a wonderful weekend, my DD has a Ballet recital this Sunday and we're on our way to another rehearsal. Will update you guys in my Daybook next week! :)
