Tea Talk Time #16

1. I'm having... Coke Zero with lots of ice. It's 38 degrees today and you could perhaps fry an egg outside the house!

2. I'm feeling... Excited for my DD who's turning 8 this Saturday.

3. On my mind... A simple, but fun family bonding time on DD's 8th birthday. Thank You, Lord, for another year for my sweet, DD...

But in keeping with his promise
we are looking forward to a new heaven
and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
2 Peter 3:13

Thanks Ruth for the refreshing Tea/Coffee Break! God bless you more, my friend!

  1. Wow and I thought we were warm outside. It doesn't hit those types of temperatures here until mid July. Hope you can stay cool today.

  2. Hi Anne.
We're over 40C here! This is really unusual. Oh well, my DDs are still out in the sun biking around with kids from my ESL class. They're so brown now.

Advanced birthday greetings to your sweet daughter.

    Hugs,
    Ruth

  3. Oh my! I think weather stats are counting up higher degrees in the next days to come in PI. Kind of unusual too, we can't help but open the ac and leave it running for a longer period of time to cool us off. We're expecting a rise in our elctric bill, and that is not good, oh well...

Thanks for the greeting, we're just planning a backyard barbecue with swimming, as it is what she likes to have. =)

  4. Hi Michelle, summer in the Philippines (or just about in any Asian/tropical country)can truly be hot moments, haha. It is a bit unusual though, because I remember when I was little, summer months aren't this hot and humid. I guess it has something to do with the global atmosphere, and how we all treat nature... We are praying for even a little rain, though, and when May comes, perhaps the rain will start pouring in...

We just had a trip to the beach and both my kids enjoyed their time. Though both are so red and burned now!

Thanks for the message, I know Spring is in your hands; I love that season. Have a blessed week! :)
