Tea Talk Time #28

1. I'm having... "Sago at Gulaman" -- To my foreign friends and sisters in the Lord -- Sago at Gulaman (translated as Sago and Gulaman), is a sweet and flavorful, iced drink popular in my country. Sago is translated as tapoioca pearls, and Gulaman is simply jelly.

I would welcome additional comments here from our gracious host and good friend, Ruth, who am sure, misses this drink, haha. Dear Ruth, help! I could not possibly describe this beverage accurately. :)

2. I'm feeling... Excited for my class tomorrow.

3. On my mind... How much I've lost weight (Yes! and I praise the Lord!)

So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ
that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:24

Thanks Ruth for the refreshing Tea/Coffee Break! God bless you more, my friend!

  1. Congratulations on your weight loss success. Glad to hear that your diet program works! Thank God.

I was wondering why you were not with us last Thursday. You were missed, but I'm glad you still made it this week.

I miss sago and gulaman. If I remembered it right, it is added with sugar syrup, that's why it is sweet. I'm not sure if they come in different colors according to flavor. But I like the plain one. There are similar drinks here in my host country and looks very fancy but I haven't tried yet.

    Enjoy your class!

  2. Hi Ruth, I was able to do it because of God, who helped me control my gazillion food cravings. I still need to lose more weight, though, until I reach the weight my doctors targetted for me...

Oh my dsl went down so I wasn't able to post on time. :)

Sago and Gulaman is a caramel colored drink, and sweetened from "panucha syrup". A dash or two of pandan flavoring may also be added to it, and with crushed ice too. It's been a long time since I've had it, so now that I've lost some weight, DH, the kids, and I, went to a restaurant and I ordered a tall glass to rewarded myself a little. :)

Have a great weekend and God bless.
