The Simple Woman's Daybook #16

FOR TODAY... Feb. 15, 2010

Outside my window... The cool night air fills the room and the breeze is so relaxing. Summer nights are always cool, praise God.

I am thinking... Of the beach for our summer vacation.

I am thankful for... The many blessings given by God not only to me and DH, but also to DS and DD.

I am wearing... A pink house-shirt with Tinkerbell on it.

I am remembering... That last summer, the kids took up advanced Math classes in school. This year, we will hit the beach!

I am going... To grab a bag of potato chips and share it with DH later.

I am reading... DH's Valentine's Day gift to me -- The Message Bible. Thank you Lord, for giving me DH...

I am hoping... We could go out of town this summer; maybe to the far South, like Cebu...

On my mind... Dental appointment for the kids' routine teeth cleaning (prophylaxis), DS's eye doctor, and dropping by my Endocrinologist for my Type 2 D.

From the learning rooms... High School Math reviewer for DS, and some Fraction exercises for DD.

Noticing that... The summer arrived early this year and we frequently open the AC to combat the heat at home.

Pondering these words... Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the people. -- Luke 9:16

From the kitchen... Take-out KFC and homemade Potato Salad -- both leftovers from yesterday's little celebration of V-Day at home.

Around the house... Milkshake the pup is sleeping soundly under our bed, her chew toys scattered all around her.

One of my favorite things... Lots of laughter by the children when they play with our Maltese puppy, Milkshake.

From my picture journal...

Thanks to Peggy for allowing me to take part in The Simple Woman's Daybook. Blessings and have a great week, everyone!
