FOR TODAY... May 18, 2010
Outside my window... There is only a little breeze blowing outside my window. Summer nights are not yet comfortable and inviting. The rainy season months are still about two or three weeks away...
I am thinking... About my new post as freshman high school teacher. I am excited and hopeful that my students will like, enjoy, and pass the Filipino subject I am going to teach for the new schoolyear opening this June 8th.
I am thankful for... God's blessing of allowing me to be able to work with adolescent kids this time.
I am wearing... A pink shirt-dress with Tinkerbell printed on it.
I am remembering... To get ready with my lesson plans soon.
I am going... To start reading books pertaining to the lessons I am going to teach this schoolyear.
I am reading... Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris
I am hoping... The weather will be cooler soon.
On my mind... Start of school! Time flies fast; it was just like a few hours ago when I started saying that summer vacation is in the house. Now it is about to end in around two weeks... Kids are excited to be back to school, praise God.
From the learning rooms... None yet; still savoring the last few weeks of summer...
Noticing that... The kids want to go back to school again, and their love affair with summer is wearing off a bit already -- for books and another schoolyear of fun and learning. :)
Pondering these words... Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. -- Isaiah 1:18
From the kitchen... Beef with Cheese, Nido Soup, and Monggo Beans Saute...
Around the house... Kids are getting ready for bed...
One of my favorite things... Hugging Milkshake, our naughty but lovable, six month-old Maltese puppy!
From my picture journal...
Thanks to
Peggy for allowing me to take part in
The Simple Woman's Daybook. Blessings and have a great week, everyone!
