A Fearless Approach

Dear God,

So many times when I need something from someone, I am oftentimes embarrassed or afraid to ask for it... But it is so much different with You. You have assured me many times, that I do not need to worry or feel somewhat shy with You. You know that I would need You often so You made a clear, paved, and concrete way for me to come to You without fear, any time, any day. I am so very thankful for that...

It seems that eversince my DS and DD were born, I have needed You so much more often. Okay I admit, EVERYDAY. I have so many questions, concerns, and many times I just want to thank You for both of them that You placed in my care.

Am just so glad that not one of my concerns sound foolish to You, Lord. It is a wonderful thing that You will always take time for me -- 24/7. Thank You, Father.

Let us then approach the throne of grace
with confidence, so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

  1. Anne, this was beautiful. It is a reminder for me to look up for things instead of others. I'm the opposite of you, I have no trouble asking my friends for things, but unable to ask God for help until I'm in desperation.

  2. Hi Michelle, thanks for your message, I am blessed by it even if we are opposites in that area. :) You and I and the rest of us here are so blessed we have a considerate and giving God. Like you, I am guilty of not including Him or clinging to Him when things go tough in my life. But thankfully, He is always there even when we sometimes make Him the last. Isn't He awesome! :)

    Have a great week, great friend! And thanks for dropping by. {{{Hugs}}}
